On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport(JRO), you’ll be personally met by your Safari expert Spanish-speaking safari guide. After a brief introduction and safari briefing, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours). Keep an eye out for local Maasai villages and landscapes along the way.
Your first game drive in Tarangire will immediately immerse you in its unique environment. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, often numbering in the hundreds, particularly during the dry season as they congregate near the Tarangire River.
Scan the acacia woodlands for the elusive fringe-eared oryx, a striking antelope with long, straight horns, unique to this region. Also, be aware of treeclimbing pythons, though sightings are less frequent.

Day 2: Tarangire's Day & Night Encounters

Today, you’ll explore different areas of Tarangire, venturing further into its diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands, riverine vegetation, and rocky kopjes. This increases your chances of spotting predators. Look carefully for lions, often resting in the shade or stalking prey. Leopards are more elusive but can be found in trees or near rocky outcrops. You might also see cheetahs on the open grasslands. Keep an eye out for smaller mammals like dwarf mongoose and baboons. Birdwatching will continue to be rewarding, with potential sightings of kori bustards (the largest flying bird native to Africa), various eagles, and colorful rollers.
A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park,
allowing you to stay immersed in the wildlife surroundings until late evening.
Pay attention to the guide’s spotlight; it can reveal the subtle movements and glowing eyes of nocturnal animals. The sounds of the bush are often more pronounced at night.

Day 3: Lake Manyara's Biodiversity Experience

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire, perhaps revisiting areas of interest or searching for species you haven’t yet seen. Around mid-morning, you’ll begin your scenic drive towards Lake Manyara National Park (approximately 1-2 hours).
Lake Manyara is a smaller but incredibly diverse park situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You’ll be on the lookout for its famous tree-climbing lions, though sightings are not guaranteed as they are nomadic. The alkaline lake attracts vast flocks of flamingos, often creating a pink haze along the shoreline. You’ll also see a variety of other waterbirds like pelicans, storks, and cormorants. The park is home to large herds of buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope. Keep an eye out for baboons and blue monkeys in the groundwater forest. Late in the evening will be time to proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater's Natural Wonder

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 1-2hours). As you ascend the outer rim of the Great Rift Valley, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the landscape. You’ll then descend approximately 600 meters (2,000 feet) into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wildlife haven.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a remarkably high concentration of wildlife within its relatively small area. You have an excellent chance of seeing the family of big five here: lions, elephants, buffalo, and black rhinoceros You’ll also see hippos wallowing in pools, wildebeest, zebras, various gazelles, and numerous bird species, including ostriches and kori bustards. Predators like cheetahs and hyenas are also present.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated spot within the crater, allowing you to continue wildlife viewing until evening where you will be heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Your guide will focus on areas where black rhinos are known to frequent.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Area & Transfer to Serengeti

Enjoy a final morning in the Ngorongoro area, you might have another short enroute game drive on the crater rim, visit a local Maasai boma (village) for a cultural experience, or visit the Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site where early human fossils were discovered . Afterwards, you’ll begin your scenic drive towards the Central Serengeti National Park (approximately 3-4 hours, with en route wildness experience .
The drive to the Serengeti is itself a game drive as you traverse the vast plains. Keep your eyes peeled for giraffes, gazelles, and perhaps even early sightings of wildebeest and zebras depending on the time of year and migration patterns. Upon arrival in the Central Serengeti this evening you will check in to your lodge or camps for dinner and overnight.
The landscape will change dramatically as you move from the highlands of Ngorongoro to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Be sure to ask your guide about the unique ecosystems.

Day 6: Serengeti's Predator Plain Full Day within Serengeti

Rise early for a game drive during the prime wildlife viewing hours. The early morning light is fantastic for photography, and animals are often most active before the heat of the day. Today spend the full day within the Serengeti is renowned for its high concentration of predators. You’ll focus on searching for lions (often in prides), elusive leopards (look in acacia trees along river courses), and swift cheetahs on the open grasslands. You might also see spotted hyenas, jackals, and a variety of plains game.
You will be taken to one of the picnic site, where you will go for lunch, after lunch you will proceed with the afternoon game drive until late evening where you will be heading to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti morning game drive & Flight to Zanzibar

Rise early for a game drive during the prime wildlife viewing hours. The early morning light is fantastic for photography, and animals are often most active before the heat of the day.
After your game drive and breakfast at the camp, you’ll be transferred to a local airstrip (likely Seronera – SEU) for your flight to Zanzibar (ZNZ). Enjoy the aerial views of the Tanzanian landscape during your flight.
Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your chosen beach resort. Settle in and begin to enjoy the relaxed island atmosphere.
Keep an eye out for the start of the Great Migration if your visit coincides with the movement of wildebeest and zebras across the Serengeti plains.

Explore its narrow, winding alleyways, historic buildings with intricate architecture (a blend of Arab, Persian, African, and European styles), bustling markets, and cultural landmarks like the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the former slave market. Learn about Zanzibar’s rich and sometimes turbulent history.
Combine your Stone Town visit with a tour of a local spice farm. Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island,” and you’ll have the opportunity to see, smell, and taste a variety of spices like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and vanilla, as well as tropical fruits.
